
ALVAR
Alvar, a 16-year-old karting prodigy from Kaarina, began his karting career in 2015 and has since showcased his exceptional skill and speed, competing at the highest international levels.
In the 2024 season, Alvar made his debut in the KZ2 class, earning the silver medal in the Finnish Championship and achieving an impressive 11th place at the World Cup held in Portugal in October.
Currently, Alvar attends the Sports Program at Kerttuli High School in Turku, which supports the balance between elite sports and academics, providing comprehensive backing for his athletic lifestyle.
Alvar has been selected as the only karting driver for the Flying Finn Academy for 2025. The Flying Finn Academy, the junior national team of the Motorsport Federation's coaching system, has been supporting young talented athletes on their way to the world since the 1980s. Several top Finnish drivers have passed through the coaching system, including Valtteri Bottas, Kimi Räikkönen, Esapekka Lappi and Teemu Suninen.
